Medical Insurance Coder
Job Location : Dubai, UAE
Main Duties :
• Translate clinical treatments and procedures into standardized ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS code sets.
• Audit medical charts and treatment notes to guarantee documentation completeness and regulatory compliance.
• Process and submit clean insurance claims following Dubai Health Authority (DHA) protocols and payer guidelines.
• Coordinate with clinical practitioners and internal billing specialists to resolve claim rejections and resubmissions.
• Assist with internal revenue cycle reviews, claim audits, and data reconciliation tasks.
Ideal Candidate Profile :
• Credentials: Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), or an equivalent recognized coding credential is preferred.
• Professional Background: At least 2 years of hands-on medical coding experience within the UAE healthcare system; prior exposure to home healthcare coding is a strong plus.
• Domain Mastery: Deep familiarity with DHA health regulations, local insurance claim workflows, and core diagnostic/procedural classification frameworks.
• Core Aptitudes: High-level precision in data verification, keen analytical skills, and proactive communication.
