Pharmacist
Job Location : Dubai, UAE
Key Responsibilities :
• Dispense prescription medications accurately and safely in accordance with DHA regulations.
• Review prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, drug interactions, contraindications, and dosage.
• Provide professional counselling on medications, dosage, side effects, storage, and adherence.
• Promote rational use of medicines and evidence-based pharmaceutical care.
• Work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels, expiry management, cold chain compliance, and stock control.
• Ensure compliance with DHA regulations, pharmacy standards, and controlled medication requirements.
• Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing professional development.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while enhancing the reputation of Bloom Plus Pharmacy.
Qualifications :
• Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD).
• Valid DHA Pharmacist License (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of DHA pharmacy regulations and standards.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Strong clinical knowledge and professional judgment.
• High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
Preferred :
• Previous experience in a community pharmacy, outpatient pharmacy, or hospital pharmacy in the UAE.
• Experience with pharmacy management software and inventory systems.
• Excellent counselling and patient education skills.
• Fluency in Arabic, Hindi, or Urdu will be considered a strong advantage.
