🚨 URGENT HIRING – PRODUCTION ENGINEER (PDH PLANT) 🚨

🎓 Education: Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering
💼 Experience: 6–10 years of relevant experience in the Petrochemical / Refinery Industry
🔹 Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
Contribute to and execute the annual departmental safety program, including follow-up on HAZOP, Plant Safety Management, Incident Reports, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSR), Management of Change (MOC), and Event Reports. Participate in plant drills and annual ERT training as per the company HSEF program.
Prepare annual and monthly production plans in coordination with the Plant Manager and estimate resource requirements, including catalysts, chemicals, feedstock, consumables, and other operational resources.
Monitor, evaluate, and propose solutions to improve PDH plant equipment and unit performance on a daily and monthly basis. Troubleshoot and resolve complex plant and inter-departmental issues.
Provide technical guidance to shift teams for safe and efficient plant operation. Identify plant concerns, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Coordinate with Production Engineers – PP & Utilities and support departments, including Laboratory, Maintenance, Engineering, and Reliability, for critical plant activities such as shutdowns, startups, and turnarounds.
Initiate, document, and follow up on plant studies, MOC, reliability reports, and technical review meetings. Evaluate plant performance improvement opportunities through technical exchanges with licensors such as UOP/Lurgi and industry vendors.
Prepare daily, monthly, and annual production and performance reports and present monthly performance updates to management.
Plan, coordinate, and execute performance tests and plant trials, including evaluations of new catalysts and chemicals. Identify plant bottlenecks and propose solutions to increase production and improve product quality.
Review and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other operational procedures.
Develop shift staff through coaching, mentoring, classroom training, and site-based training.
Cover the responsibilities of Day Supervisor, Process Technologist, Process Trainer, or Shift Supervisor, as required by the department.
🔹 Preferred Technical Experience
✅ Experience with relevant process technologies such as Oleflex, Platformer, and CCR in a refinery or petrochemical plant.
✅ Hands-on experience in the operation of:
Reactors
Cold Boxes
Fired Heaters
Boilers
Distillation Columns
Compressors
