Accountant
Job Location : Dubai, UAE
Key Responsibilities :
• Process routine general ledger entries, billing documentation, and customer sales invoices across e-commerce and retail channels.
• Perform multi-channel payment, bank, vendor, and inventory reconciliations, including marketplace payouts from Amazon, Noon, and Shopify.
• Oversee accounts receivable, monitor aging reports, and execute active collection follow-ups.
• Log vendor invoices, credit notes, and product returns within the ERP framework while supporting month-end closing procedures.
• Assist in compiling necessary documentation and filings for UAE VAT and Corporate Tax requirements.
Skills & Experience Required :
• Educational Credentials: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline.
• Work Background: 3 to 5 years of practical accounting experience, ideally within retail, distribution, general trading, or e-commerce sectors.
• Technical Mastery: Required proficiency in Tally Prime and advanced MS Excel. Familiarity with e-commerce platform settlement reconciliations (Amazon, Noon, Shopify) and UAE tax laws (VAT & Corporate Tax) is highly valued.
• Core Competencies: Inventory accounting, financial reconciliation, organizational precision, analytical problem-solving, and clear communication skills (logistics knowledge is a plus).
