Job Position – Pricing Executive

Location : Dubai, UAE

A pricing professional with proven experience in post-conflict or market-disrupted environments. The ideal candidate can look beyond rates, understand end-to-end cargo movement, navigate volatile costs and routing challenges, and develop solutions that balance competitiveness, service quality and profitability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Source and negotiate competitive rates with shipping lines, airlines, transporters, overseas agents and logistics partners.
Prepare accurate and commercially viable quotations for air, sea and road freight.
Manage pricing for FCL, LCL, FTL, LTL, cross-border and multimodal shipments.
Respond promptly to spot enquiries, RFQs and tender requirements.
Review freight costs, local charges, surcharges, transit times and rate validity before issuing quotations.
Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Customs and Finance teams to develop complete logistics solutions.
Maintain updated rate sheets, vendor tariffs and pricing databases.
Analyse trade lanes, market trends, carrier performance and competitor pricing.
Monitor quotation conversion rates, margins and profitability.
Build strong relationships with carriers, transporters, agents and service providers.
Support the Sales team with pricing strategies for key accounts and new business opportunities.
Ensure quotations clearly state all inclusions, exclusions, validity periods and applicable terms.

REQUIREMENTS:
1–2 years’ pricing experience in freight forwarding or logistics.
Strong knowledge of export pricing across air, sea and road freight.
Good understanding of Incoterms, customs procedures, freight documentation and GCC cross-border movements.
Knowledge of the UAE and GCC freight markets is highly preferred.
Strong negotiation, analytical and cost-calculation skills.
Excellent communication, coordination and time-management skills.
Ability to manage multiple enquiries and meet tight quotation deadlines.
