Senior Estimation Engineer (Civil & Interiors)
Job Location : Sharjah, Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Key Responsibilities :
• Review tender drawings, structural specifications, and architectural documents to evaluate bidding scope and requirements.
• Perform precise quantity take-offs and material measurements from structural and fit-out drawings.
• Formulate comprehensive Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and itemized cost breakdowns.
• Analyze material, labor, and plant equipment costs while tracking local UAE construction market rates
• Solicit, review, and negotiate competitive commercial quotes from material suppliers and subcontractors.
• Liaise with project managers and procurement teams during bid handover to ensure operational alignment.
Requirements & Qualifications :
• Education & Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying with at least 3 years of hands-on estimation experience within the UAE construction and interior fit-out sectors.
• Technical Software Skills: Advanced command of AutoCAD, MS Excel (financial formulas, estimation workbooks), and specialized estimation/QS software.
• Core Competencies: BOQ preparation, quantity surveying, cost modeling, subcontractor negotiation, and knowledge of UAE building codes/Civil Defence standards.
