Project Architect
Job Location : Dubai, UAE
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure design decisions comply with local authority regulations before submission.
• Prepare, review, and coordinate drawing sets and documentation for building permit, planning approval, and NOC (No Objection Certificate) applications.
• Submit applications through authority portals (e.g., municipal, civil defense, and utility providers) and track their progress.
• Address Requests for Additional Information (RAI) or plan review comments promptly.
• Attend pre -application meetings, technical review sessions, and inspection walkthroughs with authorities.
• Justify design deviations or seek variances when strict code compliance conflicts with project objectives.
• Document meeting minutes and track authority decisions.
• Communicate authority requirements to structural, MEP, and other discipline architects/engineers.
• Schedule and accompany authority inspectors during on -site inspections.
• Obtain completion certificates, occupancy permits, or operational licenses.
• Maintain organized records of all authority submissions, approvals, correspondence, and permit conditions.
Requirements :
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture
• 5–10 years of experience in an architectural firm
• Experience serving as the technical and regulatory liaison between the design/construction team and government authorities
• Must have valid Dubai Municipality (DM) Architect approval/registration for G+2 or G+4 projects.
