🌟 Qualifications and Requirements
▪️ University degree or diploma in Business Administration, Procurement, Supply Chain Management or a related discipline.
▪️ Previous work experience in spare parts procurement – prerequisite.
▪️ Good knowledge of the spare parts market, suppliers and agencies.
▪️ Ability to handle spare parts catalogs and part numbers.
▪️ Knowledge of distinguishing and searching for OEM genuine parts and suitable replacements.
▪️ Good knowledge of the cycle and procedures for procurement and the issuance and follow-up of purchase orders (POs).
▪️ Good negotiation skills and getting the best prices and terms of supply.
▪️ Ability to compare bids from technical and commercial point of view.
▪️ Strong skills in organizing, following up and coordinating with suppliers and internal departments.
🌟 Tasks and Responsibilities
▪️ Receive and review spare parts purchase requests and ensure that the required specifications and parts numbers are complete.
▪️ Find the right suppliers and agencies and request quotes.
▪️ Verify the correct Part Number and technical specifications before executing the purchase process.
▪️ Compare prices, quality, supply term, payment terms, and choose the most suitable offer.
▪️ Negotiate with suppliers for the best prices, commercial terms, and delivery dates.
▪️ Prepare, issue and follow up purchase orders in accordance with the approved procedures.
▪️ Follow up with suppliers until the spare parts are received on time.
▪️ Coordinate with warehouses, maintenance, finance, and technical departments to ensure the completion of the procurement cycle.
▪️ Following up on cases of delays or differences in specifications and working to address them with suppliers.
▪️ Update the supplier database, prices, and purchase logs.
▪️ Contribute to the development of a reliable supplier network of original and replacement spare parts.
