We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Specialist Endocrinologist to join a leading healthcare facility in the UAE. The successful candidate will diagnose and manage a wide range of endocrine and metabolic disorders and provide comprehensive, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive endocrinology consultations and clinical assessments.
Diagnose and manage diabetes mellitus, thyroid disorders, adrenal disorders, pituitary disorders, and other endocrine conditions.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessment and diagnostic findings.
Manage patients with Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, including complications and long-term follow-up.
Manage obesity, metabolic syndrome, dyslipidemia, and related metabolic conditions.
Evaluate and manage thyroid nodules and other thyroid disorders.
Assess and manage osteoporosis and metabolic bone disorders.
Interpret hormone levels, laboratory investigations, imaging, and other diagnostic tests.
Provide counseling on diet, lifestyle, weight management, and diabetes care.
Monitor treatment response and adjust medications as clinically appropriate.
Coordinate care with surgeons, radiologists, dietitians, ophthalmologists, nephrologists, cardiologists, and other specialists.
Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and Continuing Medical Education (CME).
Ensure compliance with UAE healthcare regulations, hospital policies, infection control standards, and patient safety requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements
MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
MD / DNB / DM / MRCP / FRCP / Arab Board or equivalent recognized postgraduate qualification in Endocrinology.
Valid or eligible DHA / DOH / MOH license, as applicable.
Minimum 3 years of post-specialization experience as a Specialist Endocrinologist.
Strong clinical experience in diabetes and general endocrinology.
Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and patient management skills.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
