Production Engineer
Job Location : Kuwait
Key Responsibilities :
• Manage and monitor daily production activities to ensure achievement of production targets, quality standards, and delivery requirements.
• Drive initiatives to improve productivity, operational efficiency, product quality, and material utilization.
• Analyze production processes, identify inefficiencies, and implement process improvements and corrective actions.
• Monitor and analyze machine performance, downtime, production losses, scrap, waste, and overall operational efficiency.
• Coordinate closely with Maintenance, Quality, Planning, Warehouse, and other departments to ensure smooth and efficient production operations.
• Lead troubleshooting of production, process, and machine-related issues to minimize downtime and production disruption.
• Participate in and follow up on new production projects, machine installations, production trials, commissioning, and process validation.
• Identify opportunities for process standardization and automation to improve manufacturing efficiency.
• Ensure production activities comply with established quality, safety, and operational procedures.
Requirements & Qualifications :
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in plastic manufacturing with hands-on experience in Thermoforming and Plastic Extrusion processes.
• Good knowledge of plastic materials including PP, PET, HIPS, and PS.
• Experience in mold/die change, machine setup, and production start-up activities.
• Good leadership and manpower management skills.
• Good English communication and reporting skills.
• Good knowledge of and ability to implement ISO and BRCGS requirements.
